Types

Three types of general training are available, based on how you will interact with HFW in NC.

HFW Overview for partners and stakeholders

A one-day experiential training that provides an overview of HFW as a standardized, evidence-informed practice.

Scheduled by request.

The training provides information about what guides the HFW model and the integral role youth and families provide.

The overview also introduces ways system partners can support ongoing success of HFW teams and keeping youth in their home communities.

HFW Foundations for team members seeking credentialing

A multi-day experiential training designed to introduce the principles, phases, theory of change, and activities of the HFW model.

Lays the foundation for HFW team members to be credentialed in their roles.

NC Families United for youth and family

Trainings for youth and family conducted by NC Families United.
